Wanted to Bee More Complete

Recently I captured some images of a carpenter bee. While pruning and trimming in the yard, I noticed the blossoms on one of my favorite plants blooming and the carpenter bee hanging around the blooms. I trimmed a short tip from the end of the stem and brought it into the studio for some stacking.

Upon I completing the stack, I thought I would make the image of the Carpenter bee more complete. Here is the comp. of the bee with the host plant.

Enjoy.

David, excellent. The double download really shows off both the bee and the flower. Great Comp.

I would have loved to capture both at the same time, but.....I doubt that could have happened without a lot of bad vocabulary and chasing in the yard.
