Color contrast

I took this photo a couple of weeks ago while driving north east of Pendleton, Oregon. The contrasts of color caught my eye and I just had to get a shot of it. The fresh new green of the field. The white of the fresh snowfall on the foothills of the Blue Mountains. And the blue sky to set off the picture.

Well, you envisioned something that caught your eye and you were able to reproduce it digitally. Indeed there is a contrast difference between the green grass and the mountains and I guess it is not expected in a winter scene to see green and white at the same time.
The contrast between the sky and the mountains is subtle but it is there.
There is a difference between seeing and looking.
Is that horizon twisted?
