7:30 pm, last night UPS dropped off my new Cannon100-400 IS II
While admiring my new baby my wife picked up the lens hood
and remarked " you can get rid of the Bridgeport"
Cannon put a finger door in the lens hood to set the pola filter.
Now I don't have to put the hood on the mill to cut finger holes
WOW

I doubt many people can associate Bridgeport, Connecticut with milling machines; so don't be surprised by the low number of responses.

Best,

Jason

You're right, Jason - none of the original post made any sense at all to me

You're lucky to have a Brigeport and even luckier to know how to use it. My first job out of College was around the corner.

The would a divorce worthy comment to some people! At least she knows what it is!

However if you truly do have a Cannon, you might still need the milling machine!

Enjoy.

Like Bridgeport, York PA, gave it's name to barbells and air conditioners. Lots of other products are made there, too, including Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Can you use Buffalo (New York) windshield wipers to clean your lens off with?

While not a big deal, you should probably learn how to spell Canon. You spelled it incorrectly all three times.

Especially if you can afford the 100 - 400 II and probably have at least one Canon DSLR.

Yes, but you need a steady hand. Otherwise, the wipers will knock the lens/camera out of your hand.
