Decided to play with my old Pentax M 100 F4 Macro it gets pretty good results.
The bottom photo looks pretty close to 1:2 magnification (1/2 life-size) of this small skipper. The top photo looks like 1:1 mag (life-size) or even greater. What length tube used?
Exceptional detail in both!
Yes the top one is slightly over 1:1
The bottom one is slightly over 1:2
These were taken with 65mm of tube where 50mm of tubes would be 1:1.

My tube set is composed of a 12-mm, a 20-mm, & a 36-mm. all three together = 68-mm. What combo are you using to get 64-mm?

13-mm, 21-mm, & 31-mm = 65-mm (I was going by memory instead of looking at the tubes).
