What is the most logical move up from a Canon 60d? My photography is improving and thought I would like a full frame but only have 1 L lens (24-105) which I love. My main lens is a Tamron 18-270 and a 10-22. I shoot mainly landscapes and family photos. I use a 50X for my travel camera when flying due to the weight of the 60d and lens. Thanks for all experienced replies.
80D would be the logical upgrade. Almost same size and weight, very similar layout to lower the learning curve and a much improved sensor and AF.
If you go FF you will need to replace all but one lens. And learn a whole new layout. You get the 80D now or wait to see what the hopefully coming 6DII is like so you can decide between them.
With your type of photography does a FF or APS-C fit most of what you do?
Oh, and what budget are we talking about?
I was considering the 80d. Would like to stay under $1000 to trade. I do not know if my photography needs FF. I am not a pro photog nor do I sell anything. I do print and frame and give as gifts and do some real estate photos.

An 80D isn't a full frame camera. It's still an APS-C based sensor.
Keep an eye on this page
http://www.canonpricewatch.com/product/06044/Canon-EOS-80D-price.htmlCanon had them refurbished on last call for $815 with a full one year warranty.
I can't see a step up to any other model priced lower than 80D when you own a 60D that can be justified.
Thank you. Appreciate your advice.
Hi Jack,
I went from the 60D to the 6D.
I really liked it, but since I do a lot of BIF, the focus just wasn't up to the task.
I then got the 7DII and love it.
I carried both for a while, but sold the 6D eventually.
I do miss the FF and I'm looking for a 5DII now if I can find a good price.
If you're not doing a lot of action shots I'd give the 6D a look and when the MKII coms out the prices should come down too.
Good luck in your search.

Either a 80D or a 7D Mark II. Go to the Canon refurbished to see what is available. Check their site frequently, it changes hourly sometimes. Good luck.

Getting a new, full frame camera will reignite your passion for photography. Go for it!

Yeah, what Jerry said!
If your budget can afford it, check Canon USA for one of their refurb 5D Mk III bodies, but like was said earlier in this post, only your 24-105 L will work with it.
Good luck.

I'm surprised Nikon users pay any attention to these Canon threads. Shouldn't they be using their cameras?
