The Tree Creature

Two miles out in to the pasture I found this most unusual shaped tree. It looks to me like a creature from a Sci-Fi movie. Perhaps it was in a war and mortally wounded and cursed to be rooted into the ground here on Earth, never to return to it's original Home, where ever that is. Sounds like a good Movie script to me!

That is one interesting growth. Could it be a very old wild grapevine? I've seen some very large ones out in the wild.
