Thanks for looking tainkc,i think it's a decent camera,i still have a lot to learn but i'm enjoying it.I'll let you into a little secret,my wife has bought me a sony a55 for my birthday,it's second hand but the guy she bought it from has only had it for twelve months and it's in mint condition.Trouble is my birthday is in a fortnights time and she wont give it to me till then.

Ha, Ha! I bet that is killing you. Anyway, you will like it. It has the same sensor as my a580. I thought about getting one but I have huge hands and it has a small body than the a550. It is a shame because I liked that concept. And don't worry about the electronic viewfinder. Sony got that right also. Sweet dreams! Lol.
