You had to be there to realize the impact it had. Think about it, you must be 35 to remember when the first music CD's came out.
1994 was the last year Detroit put cassette players in cars. I won't mention 8 tracks or the Muntz 4 tracks.

My 2003 black Monte Carlo has a cassette and a CD player. No special order.

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times." I was there start to finish. Pretty amazing in many ways. Somehow managed to lose my uncollected ticket years later.

I dig rock (and Jazz,Blues and Swing..) I doubt actually being there did much for the actual musical experience. I avoided rock concerts for the same reason -the music is secondary to the "experience"- I'll listen to the records, thank you!😀
