Boy do you have that one right! w. was a mess and left everything he touched as a disater. I still can't get over how he and his inadequate admin handle Katrina.

It's pretty hard to help people, when they refuse to try helping themselves; remember the buses people wouldn't get on? The State and City Govenments made it very difficult for the Feds to do anything initially. I suppose you are one of those people who think GW actually caused the DAMN STORM because he hates black people? You make me ill!

Heavens to Betsy NO! We all know the real reason for Hurricane Katrina and it had nothing to do with Bush. It was because of the gays having anal sex. That's what Pat Robertson and Falwell said remember? They told us in no uncertain terms that Katrina was God's punishment for the US of A allowing men to have sex with men and women to have sex with whom or what ever they wanted.

I must have forgotten that one.

I ask you, WHAT CLASS WARFARE??? The claim that there is "class warfare" in is a bunch of garbage. Differences of opinion do not constitute "warfare." It's just another catch phrase manufactured by the right wing that is intended to stifle honest debate about the increasing income inequality in this country. If "class warfare" were going on, it would be the result of policies causing the rich to get ever richer at the expense of the middle class and poor. And exactly who created those policies? It wasn't Obama.

Kalsag,
Do you know what percentage the top 2 % pay of the taxes collected in this country? What is the percentage of people that pay no taxes, those working and then those not working. Please listen to him speak and he constantly utilizes the phrase the rich and their fair share. Just how much should those who work pay to allow others to sit on their collective asses. Whatever happened to his statement "If I don't turn this economy around I deserve to be a one term president.", remember that one. Please his is a divider not a unifier.

George and BigBear,
Boy it looks like you guys have attracted the attention of the Progressives. Those boys, who started in Merry Old England, have been spreading their "story" in this country for over 100 years now. Their man in Washington could burn people in front of the White House at noon and they wouldn't change their minds about him. They are well "programmed." You are truly wasting your time using facts, or logic, or history on them.

Totally disagree. Obama spent the first couple years of his presidency naively thinking that Republicans would work with him for the good of the country. Where did it get him? They rebuffed him at every turn; their only interest has been to get him unelected. Has the Republican House of Representatives voted in favor of Obama's economic recovery plan? No, and then they blame him because the recovery is too slow. They could care less about the good of the country. And again, where is this class warfare that the right wing keeps talking about? How come when somebody says "raise the taxes on the wealthy," it's considered class warfare, but when someone says "reduce the taxes on the wealthy," it's not? Republicans are great at coming up with catch slogans, like "death squads," "repeal Obamacare," "9-9-9," "class warfare," etc. These slogans make great sound bites on TV but do nothing to solve the nation's problems.

For his first 2 years he owned the House and Senate as both were democrat majority.
So who wasn't playing nice with him ??

After his 2nd year we got the house back and and told him he's no longer going to spend money we haven't got on his failed follies.
Therefore when November gets here we can tell him 'You're Fired' !!!
Then we can get on with saving our nation.

It's quite hard for just one person to divide a country that doesn't want to be divided. A Democrat might say, with at least as much justification, that the division is the fault of an increasingly right-wing Republican party. Both are of course to blame: one for weak leadership, and the other for increasingly extremist politics.

Obama was the instigator in the class warfare that we have now. His intention is to get as many low income people on his 'entitled' list and tell them they are entitled to:
1 An income even if they don't work.
2 Free college education.
3 A home of their choice at low or no cost to them.

And never an answer as to how it gets paid for except tax the rich and end corporate greed !!

I didn't say he started it, only that he instigated it as one of his policies to keep the low income people who are more than 50% of the population on his side.
Then spend billions of borrowed money to support them and keep them enticed to keep voting for him.
Again, it isn't as important how we got to this point, it's about how to get out to where we belong. Where everyone has the same opportunities to work toward their dream life as opposed to having it given to them at the expense of others.
quote=Lancer W/A Canon quote=docrob quote=BigBe... (show quote)

Okay, so your conservative mind puts 50% of america in the poor category, and you want them to work out of it. I agree, but tell me where the jobs are for them. The republican view is to make the rich , richer, and to prevent higher education for the poor, and even middle class, by doubling interest rates on student loans, and making applying for and receiving them almost impossible . The banks only approved 24% of business loans under $5 million the past 3 years, so tell me how you would do it.

Almost any business executive can and will do a better job then Obama has turned in. Romney could be a pleasant surprise just as Reagan was in his day. He has had a pretty decent track record at turning losing situations into winners so he is a better bet then 4 more years with Obama at the helm.

Republicans want to make everyone richer by getting the government out of the way so businesses can operate properly.

By the way .... After 4 years of BO just where are the jobs ??

There is no minority rule in the senate. Harry Reid dictates what bills get to the floor and which die waiting. He wouldn't even support the budget BO gave him nor did they come up with one themselves which is why there hasn't been one in 4 years.
