Last week I spent the weekend in Hutchinson Island right here in South Florida. Hutchinson Island is located South of Fort Pierce and North of Stuart in the East coast of Florida. As to be expected the place was loaded with tourists.
I spent the weekend in an apartment that faces from the balcony the Atlantic Ocean while the front door faces West toward the St. Lucie River. A great opportunity to have a sunrise and a sunset withing a few steps.
Because I was invited to spend the weekend there I was limited to Hutchinson Island. I visited Stuart and Fort Pierce but I was not driving and that put a halt to my opportunities to search for scenic subjects in both cities.
For these images I used my Olympus EP-5 and the Panasonic 7-14 f4. The photograph with the trailers was shot from the apartment's front door while the sun was setting over the St. Lucie River using my kit lens the Zuiko 40-140 f4-5.6 while the camera was supported by a cheap aluminum Dolica tripod. The pictures by the ocean were made hand holding the camera.
The third shot is from the building where the apartment I was invited to stay is located.

Thanks for these! I grew up there and rarely missed a sunrise but not high enough for a sunset!
