Great shot. I'm going there next week, I will have to look for this piece of audio technology from years ago.

You can't miss the general store located near the old jail. Both worth a look.

Yes,with hand coffee grinders, a roll of wrapping paper and a ball of cotton string, but no the Edison Phonographs, up into early 1970 in rural areas here in Missouri.
Fantastic image!!!!

Walled Lake Tuffy Muffler Shop In Walled Lake, Mi has a working Edison Phonograph in it's waiting room. it is fun to watch young children listen to the wax cylinder recording.

Ah, finally something before my time.

It gets scary when you start finding the stuff you grew up with in museums.

Thanks Don. It did not come out quite the way I hoped in camera, so I adjusted it in post processing. I'm glad you liked it, which makes me think I achieved my goal.

Very nice. I am one of those collectors. Old Radio's, camera's, cars, magazine's etc. If you are lucky enough to own one of these phonographs it could bring you $1,000.00 to $1750.00. Depending on serial number I am guessing this is early 1900's.
