Today I took photos for our soon to be niece in law, in Tuscaloosa. One of the places she wanted photos done was in front of the Pres. Mansion. A few other places more for sentimental value such as the place he proposed which was on the walk of fame, thier fav. resturant, and so on. She wanted a full length of the dress for the table in the foyer of the Community Center where the reception will be. I can see I def. need more practice, seems I have a tendency to shoot more underexposed even tho I was watching my meter in the view finder. She was a sweetheart for asking me to do them tho. She was able to pick out a few to her liking out of over 400 photos.

Even though I am not big on vignetting, I think you are doing great!

Lovely Photo's dont worry about underexposing, if you shoot in RAW then its so easy to tweak back up in PP, these look fine to my eye though :)

These are some very nice pictures. I am also still learning new things about my camera and the best settings to use. Sometimes I just want to pull my hair out. One thing I learned was that the lens that came with my camera is what they call a kit lens and does not take the sharpest pictures. So I ordered a new lens and I am waiting for that to get here. There are a lot of videos on YouTube that you could watch and learn different settings that would be good. There is a lot of information out there that would be so helpful to you. With time you will get better. I keep trying to tell myself that to lol. Good luck.

Great photos! And she only liked a few out of over 400?! If you put ALL the good ones into a digital frame and let it cycle through them, I would think that would be a memorable gift.

She loved quiet a few. It was fun and a good learning esperience for me. I posted one of her in front of the stadium and the Bryant-Denny Stadium sign listed as 'Roll Tide thru and thru' and should have listed it as a nostalgic photo for her since it is where she and groom just grad. from- it isn't getting much in the line of poitivity :?
