Washington Post with Amazon Prime

I used to get daily digital delivery of the Washington Post as part of my Amazon Prime. Now I am allowed to read only so many articles each month. To read everything every day, I would have to subscribe, for $99 a year. When did this change go into effect?

That is one reason I rarely subscribe to the free trials. There are way to many websites that want to have you subscribe and in the long run becomes a very expensive proposition. But, if I really like a site and I take the bait, it is because I tried it and I liked it. But that will happen in 1 out of 1,000 sites that want me to subscribe and pay.

The Post is not worth $99. They are a paper whose writers don't know how to work with fractions, percentages, converting
degrees C to F or the difference between its and it's.

I thought the Post was a continuing benefit of Prime.

I am sure it was. But if you read the fine print of any contract, it states that it has the right to change the provision within the contract. The Post might have decided that it was not advantageous being aligned with Amazon Prime. That may have been a mutual decision between the two entities. But unfortunately the change happened. I guess it all boils down, how much value is the Post to you? Is it worth the $99.00?

I get enough info from skimming the headlines. It's not worth $99 a year to me.
