Beautiful photo...I love silhouette of the trees with the sunset background....but I have a question why did you shoot with such a high speed and ISO? It just seems both are high for the conditions...I'm not trying to be a wise-guy just trying to learn as so many others on the site...thanks in advance for the explanation. Lane
Hi Lane - I used a higher ISO because it was dark on the east end of the lake where I was shooting, but the sun coming through the trees was bright. I think the high ISO worked out for this capture. Thanks for asking!

Lived in Riverside back in the late 60's to 1972. Received my Ph.D at UCR.
