I'll take the green one, tho I'm guessing it may be more complicated to maintain

The Alfa is scrumptious, but I don't recognize it - what is it?

I looked at that body style and thought.... "Abarth". Then I self corrected... the Abarth was a tiny little, adorable Fiat. Then I again self corrected and though.... "wait, Abarth was a designer." Then I laterally adjusted and thought..."Did Abarth design any Alfa's?",
Then I answered this new query.... "Yes he did".

I believe that is an Alfa Abarth. Then I thought to myself...."could I be wrong?"

Absofrakkinglutely!.... but I don't think so?

But I can't find it on internet search???

I've seen lots of Alfas (Guilas, Guiettas, GTVs, Duettos,...), but never seen that one. I'm sending it to a fellow "car nut" for his read, and I'll tell you what he thinks. I notice a "Z" on the front fender which I assume is the Zagato logo, an Italian stylist/designer responsible for many beautiful cars.

Abarth has been tuning various Fiats and other Italian cars for at least 50 years, one of the most famous being the "double bubble" 99 BHP Fiat Abarth Zagato 750GT of the 60s that won it's class at Sebring, Daytona, etc. - very rare. Often Zagato did the body and Abarth did the engine/suspension tuning, as in this case.

Thanks for posting.

Cheers,
Chris

The image of the MG has been scanned in reverse. Prewar English cars were all right hand drive. If you look at the blower casing underneath the radiator, the MG logo is also reversed.

The "Z" emblem on the side of the front wing tells me it is a Zagato bodied Alfa. A little more digging and I found a photo of a 1960 Alfa Romeo Sprint. I think it was a special edition car from that year. Here is a link I found to the car http://www.conceptcarz.com/profile/5696,9001/Alfa-Romeo-Sprint-Zagato.aspx probably will have to copy it to a browser.

I think you're right. After consulting with my fellow car guru, we think it's an Alfa Giulietta Sprint Zagato. http://www.autoviva.com/giulietta_sprint_zagato/version/1186
