So I took my D5500 with my inexpensive 55-200 kit lens just to see what I could do. Obviously no PP but would welcome any thoughts on what could make these better - having a good time! (#4 needs to be cropped but this picture just makes me happy ;)

Great set! When the light is good the inexpensive lens can perform very well as your photos reveal!

Yes! The day was slightly overcast with only the occasional bright sun spots in between - perfect. But I was still pleasantly surprised with the lens (and my new camera;)
