I'm a big fan of Wasabi batteries. However, it seems to me that they will only charge properly when charged with the Wasabi provided charger. They don't seem to take a charge when using the camera OEM charger. What is your experience?

I don't have a problem with my D7100, nor did I with my D90.
Thanks. I need to take another look at my situation.

I don't have any problems when charging my Wasabi battries for my 7d or 5d cameras.
Have used Wasabi batteries with a charger made by Olympus. Worked just fine.

I use both a Nikon battery and a Wasabi battery in my D7100 - both charge fine using my Nikon charger. No issues, no complaints.
Thank you to all who have responded to my query.
I use both chargers for Wasabi and Olympus batteries. Have had no problems. However, you raise and interesting question. are all chargers created equal. This became a question for me with BLS-5 vs BLS-50 batteries. Both batteries are the same physical size and fit in either charger. I did some home work and although the data was somewhat ambiguous it seems you can interchange the chargers and they will charge to the batteries capacity. I guess a good analogy would be common NMH double and triple A batteries and chargers. The chargers work on all brands as long as they are NMH. Hope this helps. I will watch for others views. Stay Charged Up :)

They come with their own charger, use it. The latest Wasabi batteries and their chargers are fully interchangeable with major brand OEM batteries and chargers. I recently bought two for my 7DII and got a double charger that works with Canon OEM. As an added bonus it will charge off the usb port of a computer overnight.

My Wasabi battery charges fine - with no problems on a Pentax charger.
I use my OEM charger from Olympus and charge all my Batteries, no problem.
Mine don't last very long at all. They die even when there not in my camera.

Never had that problem with the many Wasabi batteries I've had for four different cameras.
That's interesting. I have about 8 Wasabi batteries for various cameras and I have not experienced that condition.
