Thanks, Larry! At this location, they actually hunt most of the day, though they are of course most active in early morning and late afternoon. I've found in shooting them over the past 3 years at this spot that between about 3 PM and sunset (around 5-5:30 here this time of year) is the best time for both action and light. These were shot between 4:00 and 4:30, so the sun was low in the sky and provided a nice golden light...
