I Just Ordered a Refurbished Canon 6D From Canon. Do I Have Anything to Worry About.
I have been following the Canon 6D for some time. I want one due to the picture IQ. I now have a 7D MKII but there appears to me that there is a bit of noise in my low light shots. I am hoping that I will see a difference with the 6D
Canon now has refurbished 6Ds in stock. Do I have anything to worry about?
Comments from anyone that has dealt with Canon and their refurbished cameras/6D will be greatly appreciated.

Nope. Canon's refurbished products that I've purchased look and perform like new - if you're not satisfied, send it back. And yes, you'll immediately notice a difference in your low light/high ISO shots - that's where FF shines. I routinely shoot my 5D3, (which has very similar DR and noise to the 6D) at ISO 6400-12,800.
I have just bought a used 6d...I would think a refurbished one would be great. I haven't used mine yet.
A bit late to ask but no.
Never too late to ask. I got excited seeing that it was in stock. I ordered before the camera was sold out. This camera does not stay in stock long. Then the question hit me and then I hit UHH with the question.

Short answer--No. I bought a refurb 7D 3+ years ago, as good as new. Go for it. Make that 4+years ago
If you ordered a refurbished Canon camera from Canon, you should not need to worry about it. If you ordered the refurbished Canon camera from Nikon, you should worry a lot...

You answered your own question: They don't stay in stock long. If they were something to worry about there would be no shortage of stock.
Enjoy. I just sold one. Definitely better in low light then my 7DII. A very good camera. I only sold mine because I bought a 5DIV.

On the Canon refurb......,
Now, on the noise. I just hope you're happy because every camera I have used has a noise problem in low light.
I personally would not make a purchase based on an expectation of noise.
Good luck

The Canon must have low noise than Nikon. I have noises in my image when shooting low light using my Nikon Df.
Thanks everyone for your responses. I should be taking possession of my new camera sometime this week. I am excited to see just how well this camera will work. I will try to do comparison pictures to post in the near future.
I have the 7DII also and ordered the 6D refurbished almost a year ago because I wanted a Full Frame with good low light capability. Since I already had the 7DII for sports, birds, etc., I felt the 6D was the perfect FF for my needs. It does't have the super-duper AF system that my 7DII has, but for what I use it for, that has so far not been an issue. I am very happy with the 6D and find I use it more than the 7DII to be honest. Good luck with your new camera, I suspect you'll be pleased.
ofwiah, I did the same thing last year. The first 6D I received had a dirty sensor and over 10k shutter count. I called Canon and they sent me a shipping label to return. They were out of stock so they could not replace it. About two days later they were in stock and I re-ordered. This one came in with 6 shutter count. I buy a lot of refurbished from Canon and this was the first issue I had with them, but a quick phone call rendered the situation favorable to me. I use Dire Studio's Shutter Count and it is cheap, $4. Good luck, Gary
