Hi everyone,
Last day to get entered into my clubs slideshow competition, The theme is Water in all of its forms.
Posted a few choices a while back and with feedback here and elsewhere I have narrowed my choices.
I need to pick two photos to enter. Feed back and critiques are always welcome. I do know the colors
and details are popped up, this is on purpose especially for slideshow, they seem to lose a little on
projector screen.

#1 is definitely out - really dark shadow does nothing for that scene,
#2 you have amputated child's arm and added a spurious hand. Colour is way off
#3 is the most pleasing....you need a judge that likes abstract or Monet.

I would go with 1 and 3.

Like I mentioned not sure why the cave is showing up so dark on here. Is is much brighter in PS and LR

Love the first one... the second is a fun shot shows the children totally enjoying themselves...

Lighten up the mid-tones in #1, although it appears you may have had some burn-out in the upper right that you darkened? With a different editing, this one has some nice lines and shapes.
#3 would be my pick, although as someone else mentioned, it all depends on the judges and what kind of images appeal to them/him/her.

I like the first two, backroadgirl, but the first one would need to be lightened a bit.
