Don't worry Adorama will handle this. They have great customer service.

You call and talk to who you purchased it from. No one else can help you

Could easily be the battery. A couple of years ago I bought a new 6D from B&H. When it arrived the brand new Canon battery would not work at all. Fortunately, I had spares. B&H replaced the defective one with no problem. Even brand new can fail.

Just purchased a Canon Rebel EOS T6i with lens bundle from Adorama. Charged battery, put in card and took 4 pictures, no problem. Went to work and came home. That evening the camera is completely dead. Charged the battery to full and tried again, still dead. Nothing works, no lights, no screen, no info, no reaction to shutter. Any opinions? Is it just a completely defective camera.

Did you remember to turn the camera off after using? Did you turn it on before trying to use? Was the battery down when you put it back in the charger?

You did buy a spare battery....didn't you? That would have easily told you the problem if one worked and the other did not. Either way, you need to call Adorama with the problem.

I'm sure Adorama will provide that without any coaxing. It does not hurt to ask.

I'd insist on a new camera and free shipping on both cameras.

That's always the first thing I do after I buy a camera. With one battery, a dead battery automatically gives you down time. With two, you can keep swapping batteries forever at home and have no downtime. Three ensures a full day away from home. Four might get you through the weekend. Five...well, it makes you a pro maybe?

My EOS Rebel T6 (W) did the same thing. I turned the camera off, opened the battery door, removed the card, wiped the contacts, reinserted the card, turned on the camera and Voila!, it sprang back to life ! Try this, I think it may solve your problem.
