The ranch has been in my family about 115 years. It was purchased by my Grandpa, who as a matter of curiosity was an illegal immigrant. He was brought here from Germany by my great-grandparents who came illegally. That probably wasn't a big deal then.

The pickup is a 1947 and the first vehicle other than a tractor that I ever drove. I was about 11 years old.

The barn in the first two pictures is over a hundred years old. It is still in use. Unfortunately, I do not remember how I processed the first one but I think Lightroom to Photoshop to Nik.

Nor do I remember what HDR software I used on the pickup. I don't do HDR often.

I love your photos. I enjoyed them due to my growing up in Junction, so they looked very familiar. I liked the truck image, the one in HDR. Could I ask the name of your "illegal immigrant" ancestor?

Both of them are HDR. The Ranch is the Fox Ranch. Perhaps you might know my Aunt and Uncle Lila and Robert or my cousins Norman and Connie Fox.

I do remember a Charles("Charlie") Fox from years ago. That was from way back in the 60's!

Fascinating story and glimpse in to what I only know about through schoolboy adventure stories. Was this a cattle ranch? Have you any pics of the house? Did you drive cattle to the North East?
