Titmouse in Launch mode.

On the back porch playing with my new (used) 500mm lens and I watched this Black Crested Titmouse facing downwind with his feathers being ruffled. As I took his picture he initiated a launch. Little birds sure do move quick. This is one of a set of pics I took with my ISO maxed out because the evening before I had been so bored I was trying to take pictures in near-darkness and forgot to check my settings in the morning. Thank goodness for Neat Image.

Looks like he has his right foot airborne already.

Nice shooting.

Great detail and even better with download. I think leaves frame the bird well. Handheld? even better. I need more practice with my used Sigma 500.

Your ISO maxed out and the photo is perfect. I would say you have control of the entire science of photography. Great shot.
