Anyone know of a company that will insure your
photo equipment at home as well as when traveling
in Europe.
I have homeowners insurance but they only cover
here in the USA if I add the coverage.
Talk to your insurance agent.

Ask your insurance agent for a "Travel Rider", specific to your camera gear.
I have my gear insured under a Valuable Personal Property policy separate from my home owner's policy. Costs about $100.00/year and includes my wife's jewelry as well as my cameras. As mentioned previously, ask your insurance agent.

My homeowners covers my gear regardless of where I am in the world. Don't know if I asked for international coverage specifically but I'm covered.

I have allstate homeowners and they cover if stolen anywhere, as long as its stolen.
All my Nikon equipment is insured by Travelers against loss, theft, falling into water, on hard surfaces, etc. The coverage is active
in the U.S. and abroad. Example: when I was in Venice, I left me Nikon D4 with a 24 -to 70 mm lens on a water taxi.
Travelers replaced it without question.

I wouldn't consider MetLife. They have been getting worse and worse to deal with over the years. They just shot Snoopy!
How does a company reconcile that?
