Just getting started with DSLR photography. Bought a used D3200 with kit lenses on eBay. Learning a lot reading the posts, thanks guys. Also bought Nikon D3200 for DUMMIES by Julie Adair King. If anyone is in the same boat as me I highly recommend this book, it's really good. I love the camera but don't have anything to compare it to. Any comments or suggestions would be very welcome.
Welcome to the forum. You said kit lenses, but didn't indicate what they are. Perhaps an 18-55mm for one of them? Get an extra battery and an extra SD card, and learn as much as you can, with the lenses you have. You can purchase either a Watson or Wasabi battery to save a little money. Good luck.
Welcome to the forum.
And practice, practice, practice to learn how your camera reacts. You can always delete them.
Thanks for the recommendations. I did buy an extra battery, Vivitar 2300mah. It seems to work OK. The lenses that came with the camera are Nikon 18-55 and 55-200 which has VR.

I have a Nikon D3200, you will love it! I found a DVD made by QUICKPRO CAMERA GUIDE, (
www.quickproguides.com) on the Nikon D3300.
I think this will be extremely helpful. Bob G
