Fantastic, superb photography Bob. I am sure it was taken in Paris, I was there in the film days, shots like yours were impossible.
Thank you Mike. Yes, this was the Cathedral Saint-Louis des Invalides. Thank the lord for digital cameras.

Although I prefer to worship God with acapella music, I love these huge organs in these old cathedrals. And yes, they do rumble and can shake one to the core! I had a friend who was an organist, and she played a really old one. we spent lots of hours crawling through the pipes fixing ones that were plugged or whatever! Beautiful image.

Bob, you can check with your closest NPR radio station to see if they schedule the Wanamaker Organ program.

Sooo beautiful, Bob! I have a friend who gives piano and organ concerts and when he plays the pipe organ up on the balcony of his church, I swear, the who place vibrates!

Great shot of a beautiful old tracker action organ-probably 18th century--like Bach would have written for.---but not in Paris!
