Well, that was cheery, St3v3. I am now more in the mood to have a few pints this evening.

Oh, how delightful! I for one am going to be cremated. No zombie uprising for my used-up, old corpse.

That's for sure. It will either just stop, or we will go on to a better place. Either way.....

My 8 year old granddaughter told me on the way home from school that a boy in her class that his grandfather had died over the weekend and she was sad. I asked "who else would you be sad about"? answer: "Mommy and Daddy". Drove another block, and ask, " any one else?" Instant reply, " Grandma!". I by now am laughing and ask " what if something happened to me?" Again instantly she said, " Oh you won't die. You got all the batteries!" note: my grandchildren have always been told that if a toy is broken, take it to Grandpa, he can fix it." As near as I can figure it, as long as I keep batteries, I won't die.

I can't see a reason for me to focus on death any more than is necessary. I can't imagine going to a gathering to talk about death and view photos showing the stages of decomposition etc. However, I'm a retired detective/investigator who spent most of his time investigating violent crime. I really don't need any more of a focus on death at this stage in my life. I would much rather spend my time focused on life. I suspect I'd feel the same way even if I had chosen a different career. Why sit in a room and talk about death when I can be out in the sunshine and jumping in mud puddles with my youngest granddaughter? Or...just enjoying every moment of life I'm given. Prepare for death, yes. Focus on it, no. Just sayin...

Left out of the mix is to experience the 'perfect' camera and 'perfect' lens.

Thank you. My Oncologist told me Mon. there is nothing more they can do for my Melonoma cancer. It has taken a leg and is now attacking my lungs. Some of your info was helpful.
