Thank you very much gawler, I was fortunate to get more deer photos similar to this in the past 3-4 months than ever before.

Thanks, Chuck, We try to make it down to Florida for a few days each year, but failed to make it last year. We have what was called by our developers a natural area, mainly because it was to low to build on :) just across the street from us, and sometimes have deer bedded down in our front yard, but none with such a nice rack as yours! Talking about traveling we love to visit Florida in late February, early March, but feed many yard birds and also some waterfowl and just couldn't ask our friends to take on such a project, so really hate to just stop the feeding them although I'm sure that they make out fine. Also we had a Baltimore oriole visit us on the 21st of December, and stayed until about a week ago. and hoping it will return, as the first one for us stopped by last March and was joined by another one about two weeks later. Both disappeared after about five weeks, so figured they had continued northward, but after talking with my former neighbor yesterday, which moved to Florida about a week ago said that a pair stayed all summer at their former place, which is just down the road from us, so it's very likely that they may have been the same ones. Also the wood ducks and the osprey will be back about that time to to begin nesting,. Decisions, decisions, but do love to get away for a few days, especially when we hear the weathermen calling for bad weather in our area! Take care!

Good looking white tail. Will you see him during hunting season?
