Nice shots, love the colors. This brings back not so pleasant memories. In 1958 I was hiking in the park and stepped into a cactus, had to drive to Alpine hospital to have it removed.

During our visit to Big Bend I took the same photos of the window at Sunset from the terrace overlooking the Windows. Yours turned out better than mine. Wonderful scene especially your first shot.

Bet it was pitch dark by the time you got back to the basin.

We were just there at the overlook, it was a short walk back. A few years ago I walked back from the Window after sunset. Tough walk.
