A nearby restaurant in New York State has two of these life sized statues of
the British Beefeaters guards. A similar one is on display at Heathrow Airport
but there is no information on line as to who made them or what use they
use they served. Any information would be appreciated.

Do you mean what use were the Beefeater guards? Or what use the statues fit?

The restaurant has the two statues but they don't have any information other than what I have already said about them.
The purpose of my inquiry was to help them know more about who made them and where were they from.
Since we have some Hogs on the site from England I thought one of them might know.

The statues show the regular uniform. The story is rich with old England, and one finds them near the White Tower and the Jewels of the Kingdom.

As I heard the story.......the kings guards were fed well (beef) so they would remain loyal. The regular folk who were not as well off, gave them the name Beefeaters. My daughter at the Tower of London with a "Beefeater." Looks the part

Yes,as said they are the guards at the Tower of London, all ex-military men.Like everything in Britain the past is cherished and kept alive also, dare I say with an eye to tourism.
