spent part of the day yesterday working with the cats at the animal care center in Ukiah. These images will be going on the web and I hope they will find a forever home.

Very appealing poses, I hope they get adopted.
Bless you for doing this. I have a friend who does this here for our shelter. :)

Good for you! I love cats (have 3 abbysinians), and my next cat will be an adopted shelter cat.
Let us know if that first and last one go first, those pics are nice,

you picked my two favorite shots. the last one was taken while she was in a cage. Loved the background. I loved her coat , gray and black strips.

Hi,
Our photo club has just been ask to photograph the animals at the shelter. We are planning on going forward and wondered if you had any tips to share with us. bud
Just go and have fun. When doing cats it is a good idea to have at least two people doing the job. If you can get someone from the shelter to help that know the cats or dogs that is a big help. Try to spend time with the dog before you start and have some toys available/ Also when doing dogs it is a good idea to try and get down to their level.
Remember to shoot in jpeg if the shelter is doing any post work. They may not be able to handle raw.
When you are finished it is a nice idea to print some of your images so they and hang them on the wall.
Just remember your work may help to find forever homes for God's favorite creations.
Great expressions on the kitties...
Daughter has a Black and white that looks very similar to the on in your post...
Hope they all get adopted... That is the only way we have obtained ours... as they say Adopt don't shop....
So nice of you to help them out. Hope they are adopted.
