I have some friends that can't live without coffee, so that may be a nice gift to bring back for them, thanks!

If you like coffee, there are few beans better than Blue Mountain Coffee of Jamaica. Rich flavor and smooth. If I remember correctly, the Blue Mountains are over near the Ocho Rios side of the island. It is very expensive over here, but you may be able to find it there and bring it back in your luggage. Check the grocery stores. Good luck.

Heading to Jamaica in Feburary, staying @ the Secrets Resort in Montiego Bay. Anyone ever been and what's the best excursions to do? My husband wants to go fishing, but from what we've "Googled" about it; it sounds like we should just save our money on that one. Of course any photo suggestions I'll take also. Taking my Canon 7D mark II and my lenses Sigma 70-200 and Canon 18-270.

I cant be of too much help its been in the early 50s since Ive been there. We were in Kingston and took the tour over to Montiego Bay. On the way there was a great garden spot we stopped at . Than there was Nole Carols place on the coast. On one of the high roads you can look down on the prison. There seem to be no middle class there. Very rich or very poor. You will be glad you don't have a film camera. Shoot every thing, you can delete when you get home.

Since you're staying in a resort, there's a good chance that snorkling will be offered: you will be taken to a good spot by boat. Once you've got your head under water, it's an incredibly beautiful world below you!
I did not go snorkling myself, but I did have a waterproof camera with me: Olympus Tough. It very quickly became the most popular camera with the people in our group: it was taken for an underwater trip every afternoon while I was given the loan of someone else's camera to take photos along the beach or within the resort. Two or three of the borrowers didn't have their own SD cards; for each of them, I took a photo of him/her, then handed the camera over. Took their photo again at the end of "their" series. Once home, I just put the photos in a folder in Dropbox and sent them the link.
Worked very well.

Very nice idea. We actually do have a day that is scheduled for us to go to the National Marine Park for snorkeling and then to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. I'm sure I won't be going down the 110' slide, I'll just take pics of those that do!
Thanks for the great idea!

Dunns River was fun for my wife and I to walk up and have photos of us in them. We also enjoyed a river raft trip when we staying at Couples in Ocho Rios. Enjoy the Red Stripe beer and jerked chicken. Bring home some Blue Mountain coffee for sure as it is very pricey in the US.

The Black River Safari Cruise is great, crocodiles (not alligators as some sites say), tropical birds and mangrove trees.

YS Falls is scenic, try zip lining through the trees, there's a 7 tiered waterfall, and plenty of picturesque sights on the drive there.

Try Bamboo River Rafting, just sit back and enjoy with plenty of photo ops.

Rick's Cafe as others have mentioned!

We stayed at Sunset at The Palms Resort in Negri, and it was full of flora and fauna as well as beach shots.

Have a great time!
