not sure why these bugs need a bee maybe the vibration lol got these today canon 7d2 sigma 150-600 sport lens . look like some sort of fly if any one has any info

Looks like the robber fly had a chance to mate just after he had captured the bee for a meal. I guess he's all set in the munchies department after he completes his "business".

Thank you for that Mr B , yes looked it up on the net and robber fly looks like it fits a fly that likes to catch bees on the wing , so i think you are on the money , eating while having sex sure its all been done before
