Looks like he is scolding you for watching him! Very cute and precocious.

Thanks Carol, the shadows had caught up with me that morning while I was watching for the Oriole to return to the feeder. Later when looking over some of those images, just started playing with the contrasts between the shadows and the direct light.

Great shot. How did you get him to sit still?

Thanks Jim, and had taken a number of shots. As time went by the sun started casting shadows on the feeder and the wren appeared to be peeping out of them, and thought it looked kind of unique.

Corky, excellent. Taken with a flash? If it was then you just took a photo the way I love to during the summer. I love to get in the blind before light and use my 580EX to get the captures. I usually end up with a black background and a beautiful photo of the bird like this Carolina Wren.

No flash, Greg, but had been kind of a cloudy morning, but a little later the sky began tp lighten enough to cast some shadows, and noticed while reviewing the shots that the wren head was in the brightness, while the rest of his body almost seemed to disappear into the darkness. I played around with several exposure and almost posted the darker one below:

Corky, I like that one also. Still to much fog to do anything unless I want to put the camera into a bag or underwater case of some kind. I will wait until it clears some.
