This guy (Steve) comes to the pier in Kittery Point Maine almost everyday to express gratitude for his recovering health and the simple moment.

Great subject showing character and feeling. Very well done, you could and should hang this one on a wall. I love it! (your lighting really makes the image)

thanks Phil..I'll tell you-i'm not a fan of too many of my photos, but this one strikes me..He wasn't aware i was taking the photos and the moment was just right..I talked with him a short while later and told me he was recovering from a stroke and caring for his sister who has parkinsons..A very gentle, kind soul..We need more of these folks in the world..all the best...Todd

Love this shot, Todd! I agree with the others that this is one for the wall. What I appreciate the most (amongst other things) about your photography is the simplicity of the compositions. They're uncluttered.

If you see him again you should ask him if he would like a copy of this shot. This photo says a lot.

Expressive portrait, Todd. It tells a lot about his character without having met Steve. God bless him and you.
