Two Questions, 1st does Nikon Capture NX2 have a stitching program and if no where can I get one that probably named: Stitching for REAL big Dummies. I have looked at a couple sites just way to complicated for me.
Thanks

I shoot Canon, but I believe Nikon's come with ArcSoft Panorama Maker. If you can't find it on the CDs that came with your camera you can probably find it on their website under Support for the camera you own.

You can also Google how to stitch photos together for free
- there are plenty of free products and videos to help

If I do don't know about it, what is it, Like I said I don't know much of tthe newer computer language. Would you know of a book or a web site that can explain all the new terminology for an old photography that kinda lost track of time and didn't keep up
Thanks

You are doing fine, but Google is a tremendous help. If you know what kind of computer you have - PC or Mac - and what operating system you have we may be able to help more.

Do you have Elements? You can stitch panoramas easily with it. Give me permission and I will post a small version of one I did last weekend.

A panorama program did come with my Nikon P500. Not sure of the name, but it is easy to use & does a good job. Ya just import the photos, in the correct order of course, & let the program work its magic.

Post some of your pano's?

OK, here is a panorama taken last Monday. It is by no means perfect, there is at least one place where you can see the join! The camera was handheld, not on a tripod, but I observed the basics:

1. Use Manual exposure.

2. Use Manual focus.

I took seven exposures and stitched them together in PSE 9. The original PSD file from that exercise is 364 MB (RAW files)

Elements 10 makes sooo easy. The pics don't even have to be in order!
