I have a D7200 and Lightroom seems to work with RAW/NEF images. My grandson has a D810 and shoots RAW and uses LR with no problems, either.

Mind you, I'm strongly in favor of PP on raw files, but it's not my goal in life to convert anyone to my way of thinking. If you decide to give it a try, I hope you find, as I do, that the results are well worth the effort.

I installed View Nx-1 and it was horrible, was that the wrong one? I put it all in the trash bin and emptied it. HELP.

Meanwhile Update to the latest Mac OS your computer will run, and iPhoto or Photos should handle your NEF files.

I'm headed to the Apple store. Iphoto handles the D7000 but I didn't get a disc for my D7200 and it won't import raw from the card reader it will do jpegs. HELP!
