A few shots from the butterfly center in the Bentsen Palms area of Mission, Texas. Butterflies are good this year! Unfortunately, I can't name any of them. The bird, however, which we also saw at the center is a Long-billed Thrasher. You won't see this bird in the USA without coming down into this area. The flowering plant is Milk Weed, a true friend of the butterfly! I spent the whole time shooting with my 5D in the manual mode without realizing it and had to salvage these shots from over exposure in LR.
Good series of photographs.
Well taken.
Beautiful captures and good looking subjects, too.
Nice and beautiful set! Great recovery!
Beautiful shots, backroader!
