Just picked up this lens and am very pleased with its results thus far, have scanned the web for spec sheet but only find info on the 70-210 Zoom, any suggestions as to where I can get this spec sheet? Thank you, Frank1

The 70-210
is a zoom lens. “Macro” is just marketing - it’s actually merely fairly close focusing.
try
dyxum.com. I used to be a regular there when I shot on alpha mount. If its the 70-210 f/4, also known as the "beercan", it's a decent lens with considerable chromatic aberration, very nice bokeh, and nearly indestructible construction. However it is not a true macro by any stretch, and it doesn't play well with close-up filters.
Just reread your post and realize I may have misinterpreted, I assumed you meant 100mm macro.
I do have the 70-210mm and like it, but it is definitely not a macro lens.

The confusion is caused by the Macro Mark on the lens, Minolta was just showing that this is where the lens focuses in close to a subject, the lens is not a macro, but Minolta chose to call the close focusing distance Macro. Your lens is the 70-210, it is not a 70-210 macro, that is why you can't find anything on it, a Minolta 70-210 macro does not exist. Enjoy your lens, I believe the colors produced by these Minolta AF lenses are very different from what any other lens manufacture produce. I like them.
I had the Vivitar 70-210 Macro zoom. Great lens took wonderful shots on my Minolta X700.
