Thanks all, I can't decide if the twig in front of the bird enhances or distracts from the image. Here is one clear of twigs.

It does, but it's there and it's a natural thing, so I think we overlook it. Your second post is a bit better with the OOF twig only covering the bird's feet.

It is minimal PP. Highly cropped and just a little sharpening & noise reduction. It was shot through a window so it is what it is. I would have liked to get closer without the kitchen window, but I knew Mr. Cardinal would have taken off after I opened the door and tried to sneak up on him
