Red-winged blackbirds are quite aggressive....possibly protecting their nest nearby. I recently saw a pair of them going after a large heron.

The last one of the hawk in flight is terrific but #2 is favorite, Was that the first shot the RWBB took at the hawk?

Thank you! Not sure if that was the first shot at the Hawk or not. He dove at him many times. I was pretty amused watching it - especially when the Mrs. joined in the attack!

Fantastic! Haven't seen red wing blackbirds since I left Wisconsin many, many years ago. Was this in Orlando?
