I have to do it. DOn't know how to call it a city street shot, but it was a well attended grad party and I was thrilled with this picture. Love the eyes - all on the camera. One is my grandson and another a little friend.

Day 162
No city street shots. This is something on a country road on my way home from work. Some of you may be familiar with this and others not. It is flue cured tobacco. There isn't much of it being grown around here anymore. This was the main cash crop my family raised to make a living and I spent most of my growing up years working in it. Things and times change; for the good a lot of the time. I smoked up to 26 years old then stopped. I've been smoke free for 32 years. Thought it may be of interest for those that weren't in states where it was grown.

p27 It is the same around here, unless I get in the car and drive about20 miles to get to the heart of the city.

Personally, I prefer country lanes.

AWESOME!!! Love those oldies!!!
There really are some good pictures on here today. I enjoy looking at all the stuff on ugg. I can see that there are a lot of regulars who share many ideas and are willing to help. I have learned a lot in the time I have been on here, I don't comment a lot, because I really need to get good before I can comment on others work. Thanks to all of you on you comments on my stuff.

Memories!! Hubby was driving a Model A when I met him. Still have some old ones, but they aren't running :( He's into the classic/antique motorcycles now.

Wow perillin.... really country roads.. and the same menu at our house on Sunday - pizza.
Even though I have 2 close neighbors I cannot see their houses unless I walk to the mailbox. We wave as we are leaving for work in the morning and sometimes talk to the other one. All of us look out for one another's property but that is about it. I have to drive at least 10 miles before I hit a red light.
