Definitely the female cardinal- very nicely done.
The fourth one for me. The female shot is excellent.
They are all good Donald, but #4 stands out.
I really like the female cardinal. She blends in nicely but is also easily seen.
Love the cardinals all of them. But the female cardinal just looks so perfect....
I prefer the 2nd 3rd and the 4th, the second and forth have the edge due to the color.
To me birds on feeders lose a natural look.
Crop #1 and #4. #5 is fine as it is. They would all be good.
I've gotta go with #3. The high contrast made this a very difficult shot - but you got it!
They each have something to enjoy.
I like #4. She is beautifully framed and unobstructed. All are quite nice. This came from a person who really loves bright colors, especially red!
I think technically, the female cardinal is the best. However, the first male cardinal has a lot going for it. The last male cardinal has the tail chopped off, and I simply prefer bird pics in a tree or bush instead of on a feeder. Looks more natural. I know there are branches in front of the male, but it's not distracting and looks very "normal" and natural. So, subjectively speaking, I like the male cardinal better, even though it may not be as good technically.
#2 shows the colors of the bird in a natural environment; makes you feel like you are there on a branch with him.
I think the female Cardinal is the most dynamic. It has both the element of the surrounding monotone desolation, with the hint of the red-orange beak to draw the eye into the environment.
