From Adobe, this offering showing movie posters that use absolutely minimal designs, but are powerful images.

There is a lesson here for many of us: less really can be more.

I thought some people needed a reminder that simplicity is powerful.

I just backed up my whole hard drive in my primary computer. I didn't know I had so many pictures. Holy moly. It took me HOURS!

Yeah, the more you have the slower the computer is on backing up your files.
For my Birthday my husband got me a hard drive so I could backup all my pictures. I've lost so many on two different computers that crashed on me. I really looking forward sitting down and doing the back up.

Their is a pictures on the "tree" thread that is just the dead branch twisted in the air and a perfectly clear sky.
To me it's simple yet powerful. It's my picture so maybe I'm partial. I did convert it to B&W. So it's very stark.
