Used to go to a Dr. Graves and then to a Dr. Hardgrave. The best one though was my sister's gynecologist, Dr. Raper.

Also, in Southern Md there was a local butcher shop named DB's Market. Sign out front said "You Can't Beat DB's Meat".

Along those lines--there used to be a store in Vermont that sold T-Shirts with the store's slogan ----You Can Whip Our Cream But You Can't Beat Our Meat

Happy New Year by the way!

In a small town a little removed from where I grew up there was a gas station that had a luncheon counter in it. The sign said stop and eat and get gas.
