Photography, learning never ends

I liked taking pictures since I was young. I had to borrow cameras to shoot photos of events, landscape, friends and myself. I am very sorry that I didn't have one camera for myself earlier, as I missed so many pictures to mark my journey and to keep memories of my love ones. I got many film cameras from the time I came to the US. My very first one was a Pentax ME and I ended up with the Nikon F4s, which was the top of the line in the 1980's. Took a lot of wedding photo assignments with it, all our family activities and trips near and far. It didn't miss even one shot. That's why when I jumped to digital, my very first trial was a Nikon D70. Simple body, but very reliable and easy to use. Then came many others such as D80, D90, D200, D300, D700, D5100, and now I am trying some other brands such as Sony, Fujifilm, and I am planning to switch to Canon. I have learned so much from this Forum, and I hope some day, I can contribute some of my experience, share quite a few of my mistakes. Thank you all for your share, your passion, and your patience. Only the joy and the love for photography that can encourage you to go so far. Good luck and take care.
