Family and friends on Christmas Day for roll your own shushi hand rolls, plus build your own pizza to cook in the wood burning oven was the yummiest. The White Elephant gift exchange caused the most laughter. Having each other to love and share in the season's spirit was the best.
That looks like so much fun.

Thanks for the challenge, Bridges. Nice to have a new host join us on this thread of UHH.
We are blessed to be able to spend Christmas time with our children and grandchildren. Our own parents weren't as lucky, as we moved to warmer climes taking their grandchildren with us and rarely ventured back in cold weather.
This year's family photo editions were done on multiple iphones at the church in Austin that our daughter's family attends. It is a much bigger church than I attended back in my "coon holler" days. Of course the GK's were really happy they didn't have to wait for Grandpa to get done with the tripod and self timer to get all the family photos out of the way before they could get to the presents around the tree.
Son with his twins.
Daughter's family.
Mother and Grandmother's lament..."our children are too old to go up front in the sanctuary and sing a carol with Rick Trevino"...with tears in their ...well you know!
