What I do to get photos I've taken is after editing in LR on the laptop, I will then email the ones I want to myself. Check email on my phone, then save the photo to my phone. Works well for me...good luck with yours!

I know very little about iphones but I thought you had to use iTunes to make the transfer. But not sure.

Not familiar with the FC2500, but on most anything with wi-fi connectivity, including my Canon 80D. Select the wi-fi settings on the camera, then on iPhone go to your settings -->wi-fi it should show up under "choose a network" select it and you should be able to figure it out from there.
There are also some apps for specific cameras that also need to be started during the connection process. I know Canon has one as well as my Samsung point and shoot.
If all else fails, you can transfer to computer, then sync the folder (via iTunes) with the pics to iPhone.

I looked this device up. It is like nothing else most are even vaguely familiar with but with an old retired geek like me I recognized its roots. Back in the early 2000's there were the predecessors of the smart devices of today, phones and tablets, predating todays iOS and Android operating systems. I had one myself. They were called PDA's, Personal Digital Assistants. The most popular ones were made by Palm (and it's clones) and Dell and a couple others who used the Microsoft Mobile OS. The FC 2500 uses the MS Mobile OS. It can transfer its files via USB or Bluetooth using the MS ActiveSync 4.1 installed on a Windows PC. I recommend using the USB connection. It uses the same USB cable as most camera's, the Mini USB which is different and not compatible with the Micro USB cable but is available anywhere USB cables are sold. The FC 2500 has two other ways send files, the first is using a USB Flash drives with an OTG adaptor, which is noted on page A-3 but otherwise it isn't mentioned in the Manual. It is also described in the brochure (see link below). It doesn't say if a USB connection to a PC will allow files to be transfered but that doesn't help transfer to an iPhone which doesn't have an adaptor that works reliably with flash drives. The second option option is to attach the files to an email sent to an email account that is on the iPhone or can be added to the iPhone, see page 4-5. Good luck.
