A few past images here.
After a break in our work load here,...I took a long anticipated photography break last evening and at 10 PM,...I went down to the lighthouse for the moon rise at 10:52 PM,...temperature was mild, sky had light clouds on the horizon, was a beautiful blanket of stars, tide was almost full, the sound of waves in the quiet air, the smell the salt water that I love, not a soul anywhere around,........................I stayed there till 2 AM before I left.
Moon rose over Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick, Canada,...10 miles across the Gulf of Maine from Quoddy Head State Park at the base of the lighthouse where my tripod was set.
A gorgeous night of taking images, did some trial painting with light.
Using just a mini flashlight and long exposures I was like a lil kid,...4 hours passed like 10 minutes. Haven't downloaded the files yet,...
Will check them out in the AM.
As a matter of fact,.....
Am going beddie byes,.... right now as a matter of fact. ;-(

Loved the stars with the lighthouse, and your description of the ocean sounds...
Your images are a gift! Four hours feeling like ten minutes - sounds like pure photographer's joy. Love them all - the second on though is a stunner.
Very nice work. I liked the third one best.
