I think these are my best three shot of 2016. Snoopy in search of the Red Baron, Henry Gross lead guitarist for Sha Na Na and a busy bee.

Nice work on all three, Turboman! A good variety of subjects to stretch your photographic legs on! Thanks for submitting them to our 'Best of 2016' thread!

Fantastic shot! Almost looks like an "artist's rendering"!

This past year has been robust with weddings, portraits and real estate/property images. My days are blessed. This a a simple but favorite image of a young woman in Northern California that just had a natural easy resonance during the shoot.

Very well done, Lightbender50. A beautiful pose and image, and I'm sure she loved this one! Thanks for joining our 'Best of 2016' thread, a very worthy inclusion.

I'll have to say this little weasel set was my luckiest and some of my best from last year.

Very fun catching this little guy in action, Jack! Nice shots, and glad you chose to submit them in our 'Best of' thread. Not something you'd see every day!

We spent 7 1/2 glorious weeks in Australia, recently returning to Canada. We arose at 4am to view the sunrise on the morning after the super moon, in November, 2016. Here are three early morning shots that I love.

Three beauties, jbelmira. Hard to beat a beach scene, always some of my favorites. Thanks for submitting these to our 'Best of 2106' thread, and thanks for participating!

Both a fun and appealing image, TB4, and you're quite right. The eye behind the camera is the most important part. Excellent shot, and thanks for proving once again that cell phones are not to be ignored when it comes to good photography. Glad you chose this one for entry into our 'Best of 2016' thread!

Treepusher, you are very kind and generous in your remarks to all of us! You started a great thread with a super image yourself. We all like to see beautiful women well photographed and hope the Madame is recuperating quickly and completely.

All four are fantastic. The moon is beautiful and the cloud / ray shot is stunning. #2 and #3 are quite moving...as pictures should be. Moving without saying words. Thank you for sharing those...

Here are a couple of my favorite shots of several hundred I did this year.

A pair of beauties, Frank, easy favorites. Sunrises and sunsets over the water are always eye-poppers, and the Roseates are both colorful and the composition of that one just about perfect! Enjoyed them both. Thanks for sharing them with us, and thanks for participating in the 'Best of 2016' thread! Hope you're enjoying it!

This is an excellent image, KTJohnson, and an easy pick as a best and/or favorite shot. The monochrome works well for this, good choice. Thanks for sharing it with us, and thanks for joining our thread!

I was working on a project this summer when I stopped for a moment and threw my glasses down to wipe the sweat from my brow. As I bent to pick them up I caught this image on the bench top. I dashed inside for my camera, but only just in time. Within a few minutes it clouded over and the shot was no more.

Sorry to see your photo didn't load. Be sure to wait for it to show up after you hit 'add attachment' before clicking on the 'send' button. Hope you'll try sending it again!

Three beautiful shots, Rob! I'd go with the second as my own favorite, with its outstanding composition and simplicity, but I can understand your difficulty in choosing just one, lol. Thanks for sharing these with us, and thanks for participating in our 'Best of 2016' thread!

Lot of excellent work in this thread. This is definitely not my best quality shot, all things considered, but it is perhaps the most satisfying shot overall, small, fast bird, slow camera, slower operator with the near blinding speed and reflexes of your average 80 year old, with a couple of other other satisfying shots thrown in...

Three variations on a theme, but the first one is breathtaking, gessman! Love the shot, and quite unique. Well done. Thanks for showing these to us, and thanks for your participation in our 'Best of 2016' thread!
